About 30 miles west of Austin on the south shore of Lake Travis, is the Village of Briarcliff. The homes in the village are custom built, some of them in the late 1960’s and throughout the following decades up to the present day, with privately owned lots that continue to be undeveloped. Most of the homes in this area are owner occupied, with some homes used as vacation or weekend getaways.
The schools are part of the highly acclaimed Lake Travis Independent School District and the Village Briarcliff is zoned to the Bee Cave Elementary School, Lake Travis Middle School and Lake Travis High School.
The Lakehouse Café on Lake Travis is a favorite for residents and visitors alike. They offer a great seasonal menu with the freshest ingredients! You can relax under the shaded decks and take in the view of the lake.
Briarcliff offers many outdoor amenities to its residents. There are nature trails, a boat ramp at Briarcliff Marina, and a community center that can be reserved or rented for meetings and parties. Briarcliff Park has a disc golf park, a pavilion, playground, basketball court and a picnic facility with restrooms.
The Hill Country Galleria offers spa treatments, eateries, a fitness center, a bookstore and so much more! And it’s no longer necessary to drive into Austin for groceries – you’ll find Randall’s, Target & HEB are in the vicinity.
Hospitals serving the area are Seton Medical Center, Brackenridge Hospital, Heart Hospital of Austin, Children’s Hospital, and St. David’s Hospital.
